About Oliver Helm Makeup

From a young age, I knew that I wanted to work in the creative industry. Initially studying art, graphic design, and photography during A-Levels, I decided that the stereotypical academic progression was not for me. It was at that point that I decided to drop out of sixth form and go to college to study makeup artistry.

In Autumn 2018, I enrolled at North Notts College in Retford onto their Level 2 Hair and Media Make-up course. Despite struggling with their new ways of learning, I soon found my passion for the course and completed the qualification earning a high merit.
I continued at the college to complete my Level 3 Theatrical Media Make-up, Level 4 Higher National Certificate and 5 Higher National Diploma subsequently graduating in 2022 with a distinction.

These qualifications have not only expanded my knowledge and gain recognised qualifications, but also allowed me to craft stunning looks that empower my clients and make them feel beautiful and confident. My journey has been one of continuous learning and growth, and I am excited to bring my passion and expertise to every project I undertake.
